After enjoying our lovely 2008 Jeanneau 42i for 7 years, she is now up for sale. This privately owned, well-maintained and turnkey yacht is ready to bring joy to its new owner for years to come. The boat is currently in the US Virgin Islands (USVI), we'll soon be heading to Puerto Rico. We're flexible and can arrange delivery to anywhere in the Caribbean, including the ABC islands and Florida by the end of May.
The Jeanneau 42i is a rare find, with only a three-year model run! The yacht is manufactured by the French boatbuilder Jeanneau and designed by Marc Lombard. It's part of their Sun Odyssey line, known for its combination of performance, comfort, and style. The boat has many upgrades and luxury components and has a larger double spreader mast for more sail area. In addition, the Jeanneau 42i is well known for its spacious living area, indoors and outdoors.
Key features of this Jeanneau 42i are:
• The yacht is ready and equipped to go cruising or for another ocean voyage.
• The vessel is in very good condition, was never damages in a hurrican and has no signs of osmosis.
• This yacht has a very spacious wide cockpit and 2 helm stations.

• The standard keel (6’99’’/ 2.13 meters) ensures the yacht's stability, both in high seas and at anchor. Its average cruising speed ranges from 7 to 8 knots.
• Equipped with a new generation anchor and 280 feet (85 meters) of new limousine anchor chain (ISO 10mm G40 galvanized), the yacht is well-prepared for anchoring securely.
• The Yanmar 4JH4AE engine, rated at 54 HP, is well-maintained and serviced annually. Recently, the mixing elbow and Volvo Penta seal have been replaced.
• A fast Highfield dinghy measuring 10'3"ft (3.10 meters) is included, capable of carrying up to five people. Its ultra-light aluminium frame and Hypalon material make it easy to transport or explore the islands. The dinghy comes with a well-maintained 15 HP Suzuki 2-stroke engine, starting with just one pull.
• The large built-in fridge works efficiently, cooling down to 3°C, while the freezer reaches -11°C.
• The underwater hull is in good condition, antifoul is applied in 2022. Additionally, two coats of the same high-quality navy-blue antifouling are already on board.
• Starlink high-speed internet has been installed, perfect for streaming movies and facilitating online work from anywhere in the world.

• The owner has a history in the yachting industry and is professional RYA skipper and sailing instructor.
Handover of the yacht is possible from end of May, viewings or a trial sail can be arranged anytime. If you are missing information, of have any additional questions, feel free to contact. We will make sure to come back to you.
